About

Hello I'm Laura a Belgian kindergarten teacher. I started with this blog when I went on a Erasmus exchange in Valencia at UCV for 6 months. I started to share my experiences that I had in my classes and during my internship at "San Juan Bosco." I am a native Dutch speaker but I try to write everything in English as I am now studying to be an international teacher in a postgraduate program.

Further in this blog I hope to inspire you with the materials that I make and help you to make things easier in class. I'm very creative and I love to make my educational materials myself.

Why do I want to become a teacher?

I’m a creative person and I want to put my creativity in working with the children. When I was a child I needed special care as I am dyslectic, hereby normal school was too difficult to follow and with these “problems” I know how difficult it can be.

What does being a teacher mean for me?

Helping children, giving them your love and knowledge and seeing them grow up. As a teacher you have the most wonderful job, you actually spend more time with the kids than most parents can do...
